How the online auction works

Bidding starts at €1
All four pieces open at one euro. The bids set the price, not us.
€5 and €10 increments
Below €200 you raise by €5, above by €10. The same mechanism you know from eBay.
Ten days to bid
The auction opens on the 1st of the month and closes on the 10th at midnight, Italian time.
An account is all it takes
To bid you need a name and an email address. No payment details up front.

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything to take part?

No. Registering and bidding are free. You pay only if you win the piece.

How do I place a bid?

Open the item page, type the total amount you want to bid and confirm. If someone outbids you, you get an email.

When does the auction close?

On the 10th of the month at 23:59 Italian time. The highest bid at that moment wins.

How long do I have to pay?

Two days from closing. You receive an email with a payment button. If you don’t pay, the piece goes back to auction the following month.

Can I return a piece I won?

Yes. The 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases applies.

How often are the auctions?

Every month, from the 1st to the 10th. Four pieces each time, one per category.
