Ring trays in wood and velvet, handmade in our workshop in Italy: slotted rows to keep rings in line, moiré satin surfaces for mixed jewellery pieces, and a small bedside roll tray. Suitable for a jeweller’s counter, a display cabinet, or a drawer at home.
Slotted rows, flat surface, or rolls
The difference lies in how each ring stays in place. Choose based on how many rings you have and where you plan to put the tray.
| Tray type | Size | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 10 slotted rows with moiré satin base | 24×19 cm in the walnut and pink version; other sizes on the product page | Jewellers and large collections: each ring in its own row |
| Flat surface in wood and moiré satin | 24×19 cm | Mixed rings and jewellery pieces, display cases, product photography |
| Walnut-finish birch with choice of velvet | 24×18 cm | Precious items for display or storage |
| 6 velvet rolls | 11×11 cm | Bedside table, drawer, or collector's display case |
For a tidy counter, you can pair a slotted ring tray with a flat-surface tray in the same frame finish for other jewellery pieces.
Wood and velvet colours
The slotted and flat-surface trays come in 6 combinations: a walnut, oak, or black frame paired with velvet and moiré satin in shades such as pink, turquoise, olive, and burgundy. The small roll tray is available in 6 velvet colours. If you already have boxes in walnut or black, choose a frame in the same tone to keep things consistent.
How to use each tray
- On the counter: a slotted ring tray shows many rings in a small space so customers can see them all at a glance.
- For photography: the flat moiré satin surface provides a clean, even background for shooting jewellery pieces.
- At home: the 11×11 cm tray keeps rings separated and protected from scratches.
- In a drawer: measure the inside before choosing between 24×18 cm and 24×19 cm.
- In a collector's display case: the roll tray takes up very little space and holds rings upright.
To gift a ring or store it in a dedicated box, see our ring and earring boxes; for larger display trays, visit plateaux and couvettes. For advice on setting up a shop display, read Jewellery display cabinet: how to set it up with the right stands.
Frequently asked questions
What are slotted rows?
They are rows of velvet with a slot into which you slide a ring, keeping it upright and clearly visible. The tray has 10 slotted rows over a moiré satin base.
Ring tray or couvette: which should I choose?
A ring tray holds rings in slotted rows or on rolls. A couvette is a more general display tray for all kinds of jewellery pieces; you can find those in the plateaux and couvettes section.
How big is the smallest tray?
It measures 11×11 cm and has 6 velvet rolls, so it fits easily on a bedside table or inside a drawer.
Can I choose the colours?
Yes: the slotted and flat-surface trays come in 6 wood and velvet combinations, the 11×11 cm tray in 6 velvet colours, and the 24×18 cm tray with a choice of velvet lining.
Are these trays suitable for earrings or watches too?
The flat moiré satin trays can also accommodate other jewellery pieces and small precious objects. For pocket watches there is a separate tray with 15 padded compartments.
