Leather & Velvet Coin Cases – Handmade in Italy

This subcategory brings together the finest pieces in our coins and medals collection: boxes, cases and display trays entirely handmade in Italy using Italian velvet, faux leather and solid wood. Each piece is conceived for collectors who want their coins, medals or small valuables stored and presented with the same care that went into acquiring them.

The range includes wooden coin cases with compartments of 47×47 mm, designed to hold loose coins or capsules, as well as faux leather boxes with four, five, nine or ten slots in the same format. Several models feature a hammered eco-leather exterior paired with a soft velvet lining, combining a refined look with practical protection. Colour choices span classic black and brown to blue, red and other finishes, so the box can match an existing display or a personal preference.

Alongside the coin boxes, the category includes handmade couvette display trays in faux leather and Italian velvet, suitable for jewellery or medals. These plateau trays are available in multiple colour variants and are built to the same standard as the rest of the range. There is also a dedicated box for 50 mm porthole or Quadrum square capsules, for collectors who store larger coins in hard plastic holders.

All items are produced in small batches by Italian craftsmen, without industrial shortcuts. The materials – velvet, faux leather, solid wood – are selected for durability and appearance over time.
